How to Play Beer Hockey
Super simple game.
You only need drinks, friends, and spare change.
What you need
Hockey is a great game for small and mid-sized groups with limited resources. All you need is one coin, one table, and one drink per person per game.
Set Up
Each player stands or sits around a table, preferably one with plenty of elbow space between walls and other players. Everyone has a full drink in front of them that will act as their goal. Pick one person to go first.
Beer Hockey Rules
To start the game, player one spins the coin on the table, then selects another random player's name and shouts it out. That player then tries to flick or swipe the coin on the table so it makes contact with another player's drink, or goal.
The other players who are not shooting are allowed to try and block the coin using two fingers, usually the index and pinky fingers.
If the shot is blocked, the player who blocked the shot spins the coin again and play resumes.
If the shot is successful and the coin makes contact with a beverage, that player must drink.
The player who scored re-spins the coin, and the goalie who missed the stop must drink until the coin stops spinning.
The last player with liquid remaining in their beverage is the winner.
